The Chris Ruiz Foundation

We would like to thank everyone that has supported us in this new journey.  Chris was the bright light in our world that was unexpectedly put out.  Christopher was born on 6/28/04 and passed away on 6/9/24. He was an amazing son, an adoring brother to his sister Sonia,  he aspired to be like his older brothers Lauro, and Aaron. Christopher had so many role models such as his Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and most importantly his Godparents.  He was involved in the Edge Program as a Junior High Student, and Life Teen as a High School Student with St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Robstown, TX.  He attended Religious Education at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Robstown, TX.  He was a proud Graduate of Robstown Early College High School Class of 2023.  He also Graduated with his Level 1 Welding Certificate at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, TX.  He was in the first week of his final semester to be eligible for his Associates Degree in Welding also with Del Mar College. On behalf of Mr. Lauro Hernandez and Mrs. Michelle Ruiz-Hernandez we can not thank everyone enough for all the encouragement to continue in the path of keeping his memory alive.
